College Tours and a Little Fun
Operation Kid Forward will be taking 30 kids ages 16-18yo on a 3 day trip. This is a reward for kids that have been consistent with good grades and have not regressed into making bad choices. These types of trips are eye opening considering most of the youth we service have never seen the beach which is only 20 minutes down the road. Not only do we get the opportunity to explore educational opportunities, we get to have some fun too!
Operation Kid Forward truly believes children must be exposed to opportunities and different environments to desire more than what is currently in front of them. Exposure is the key to possibilities!
Day 1:
Partake in a campus tour to Bethune-Cookman a private Historical Black College. Once complete we will head to the University of Central Florida for another campus tour. That night we will go to Universal City Walk for dinner and sightseeing.
Day 2:
We will spend the day in Seaworld's Aquatica Water Park. That night we will have a pool party at the hotel.
Day 3:
On the way back to our beautiful home of Savannah, Georgia we will stop and tour the Kennedy Space Center.
